About the Festival

Our Mission

The West Georgia Hispanic Heritage Festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and contributions of the Hispanic community in West Georgia.

Our mission is to bring together families, businesses, and community members to honor Hispanic culture through music, food, art, and fellowship. We create a welcoming space where everyone can learn, celebrate, and appreciate the vibrant Hispanic heritage that enriches our region.

Our Story

Founded to celebrate and preserve Hispanic heritage in West Georgia, our festival has grown from a small community gathering to a regional celebration that attracts thousands of visitors each year.

Each September, we host a full day of festivities featuring:

  • Live music and performances
  • Authentic Hispanic cuisine
  • Art and craft vendors
  • Family-friendly activities
  • Community resources and information

Community Impact

The festival serves as more than just entertainment - it's a bridge that connects cultures, celebrates diversity, and strengthens community bonds. Through our annual event, we:

  • Showcase Hispanic culture and traditions to the broader community
  • Provide a platform for Hispanic-owned businesses and artists
  • Offer educational opportunities about Hispanic heritage
  • Create lasting connections between community members
  • Support local Hispanic organizations and initiatives
